I tell God that I’m nervous but He whispers to me that I have nothing to fear. Fear can be our worst enemy. It plants in our mind and tries to invade our hearts when we focus on the outcome and not God.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
We let fear become dream killers and destroyers. We take our fears and impress them upon our children when they choose to live their dreams because we have been too afraid to live our own. We impress the fears and reality upon those around us. Instead of supporting their dreams and visions, we often give them a reality check. The fact remains that just because we have been too afraid to follow our dreams doesn’t mean we should put that on other people. Dreams with a goal and a vision can pay the bills too.
A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. Proverbs 18:16
It may take some time and you have to put in the work but whatever is God’s will for your life will come to past when you surrender to Him and step out-of-the-way of self. Get out of the way by trying to fulfill your desires when you pray God’s will for your life. Overcoming fear is the beginning. Staying encouraged even when you don’t see the end result is faith. Believe that it is all going to work out for your good. Step out of faith and let God do the rest.
Until next time, God Bless.
